Add reminders or notifications for scheduled tasks
It would be nice to see a notification for a scheduled task like "pay the electricity bill". That sort of tasks don't fit in calendar app because you should be able to make it completed. But with your app you can easily miss it without a reminder.
19 votesThank you for your feedback! Notifications go against one of the major tenets of Sooner Or Later, which is to put you in control of your life, not your phone. But, you make a good point about not being able to mark a calendar item as complete. I will get back to you on this one. -David

Drag & drop reordering
I saw a suggestion on this matter was declined from 2013. I want to suggest this feature again in 2015.
The dev's reason to decline this feature was argueable. As it would not even distrupt the other ultra efficient features such as the Focus button.
Drag and drop between Soon, Later, Schedule etc should also need to be considered.

I personally believe that you’re wasting your time by reordering any further than using the focus button to move things to the top of the Soon list, but I will review this feature for an update. If you’re using the Windows version, you’ll be happy to know that I’m rewriting the user interface for Windows 10 to support swiping items between the lists, just like the iOS and Android versions. -David

Automatic backup
Configure the SkyDrive backup to run daily, or variable frequency (hours, days, etc).

We would very much like to do this work, but the last time I looked into this, there were some technical limitations that prevented sign-in to SkyDrive from working in a background task.
However, I’ll look into this again to see if the status has changed.

shop list!!
Shopping list! I would love so love a sooner or later shopping list app! Don't change a thing, just give me another live tile for my sooner or later shop list! I have searched through all the available shop apps out there but I have been officially spoiled by sooner or later to do list and now everything else is either too complicated or basically note taking. please please please consider a sooner or later shop list app!!!

Extended name text
I love how clean and simple this app is. I mainly use it without adding descriptions, however that means the name ends up getting abbreviated and sometimes it's hard to tell tasks apart even when using small font. Rather than having to edit a task to see full text can you change the display when you select a task to wrap the text underneath?
11 votesI tried this back in the Windows Phone 7 days and failed due to some bugs on the phone. I’ll give it another try and see if it’s fixed in Windows Phone 8.1 for the next release. Thanks for your feedback!

Bring back unscheduled later items
Taking these away with the new update drastically changed the function of the program. Now management is forced and clunkier. I don't have time to select a date for every single item on my Later list. Because the system was so ambiguous it worked better than any other program out there, but now that I have to set a time for everything the program is so frustrating it's more efficient to go back to paper.

Cortana support
Have you thought about implementing Cortana support. Like adding tasks, checking them off, etc. with Cortana? Basically, new task would be a long button press away, instead of open app, add task click, microphone click, save.

automatically add scheduled tasks to calendar
It would be nice for every new item on scheduled page to also appear on calendar without having to interact with calendar manually. Meaning that app would also handle its task on calendar.

search ability
Can you add a search feature. I use this app for work and have many tasks. Sometimes I need toa access one in the schedule list fast and being able to search for it would make It so much quicker. Please consider. Thanks for this awesome application.

Sync list with another person's

larger font for live tile to accommodate 3 column view in sub-5 inch devices
For smaller devices with 3 columns enabled the list on the live tile is not readily readable, would help if the font size could be adjusted.

Implement projects page
In "getting things done" you should have projects page, which is essentially a task with some some subtasks.
It would be great if you could add projects somewhere which can also be marked as completed - then when adding a basic task you can select a project to which an item belongs.
Few more ideas if you want:
- on project page show how many of child tasks are completed.
- in basic task list view display to which project it belongs to, either by displaying first letter of project name or by miniature text below task.

Just like in mail or calendar todos, the option to check multiple items to move, edit, complete, or delete todos.
